国际古城墙（堡）联盟简介

国际古城墙（堡）联盟是由中国西安城墙、意大利威内托大区古城墙城市联盟、英国约克市城墙管理机构共同发起的非政府联盟组织。

联盟的宗旨为加强全球范围内古城墙（堡）的保护与利用、旅游与管理、促进城墙（堡）管理机构与个人及国际之间的文化交流合作。

2019年意大利威内托大区古城墙城市联盟代表访问西安城墙时，西安城墙管委会提出创立国际古城墙（堡）联盟的构想，并得到了意方积极响应。2020年英国约克城墙管理机构积极参与，同样成为三家创立机构之一。

2020年12月3日，中国西安、意大利威内托、英国约克三方的城墙管理机构通过连线视频签约的方式举行了“国际古城墙（堡）联盟合作书”签约仪式。

A Brief Introduction to the International Ancient Walls and Castles Alliance

The International Ancient Wall and Castles Alliance is a non-governmental organization jointly initiated by Xi 'an City Wall of China, the Ancient City Wall City Alliance of Veneto Region of Italy, and the City Wall Management Authority of York city of England.

The purpose of the alliance is to strengthen the protection and utilization, tourism and management of ancient city walls worldwide, and to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between the city wall management institutions and individuals as well as internationally.

When representatives of the Ancient City Wall Alliance of Veneto Region visited Xi 'an City Wall in 2019, the Xi 'an City Wall Management Committee proposed the idea of establishing the International Ancient City Wall (Castle) Alliance, which received positive response from the Italian side.In 2020, the City Wall of York in the UK was actively involved and also became one of the three founding institutions.

On December 3, 2020, the city wall management organizations from Xi'an (China), Veneto (Italy), and York (UK) held the online signing ceremony of Declaration of Collaboration on the International Ancient Walls and Castles Alliance.
